The Economic Policy & Financial Stability division mainly conducts comprehensive economic analysis and forecasting based on key statistical data, and provides relevant economic policy recommendations. It also identifies, monitors, and mitigates risks to the overall financial system to ensure its resilience and stability.

The Economic Policy & Financial Stability division has the following departments:

 

Statistics

The Statistics department compiles, produces, and analyzes key statistical data in accordance with international standards to support policy-making at the CBA. These statistics include data on financial, real, external, and government sectors.   

 

Research & Economic Policy

The Research & Economic Policy department conducts economic policy research, provides policy foresight for monetary, financial, and macroeconomic development, and advises on monetary policy actions.    

Financial Stability

The Financial Stability department monitors, reports, and conducts research and forecasting related to macro-financial and macroprudential developments. Furthermore, it identifies and evaluates systemic risks and advises on appropriate mitigation measures to safeguard the overall resilience of the financial system.
