We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

 

  • Design and implement security controls for cloud platforms
  • Assess cloud environments and architectures for security risks and implement best practices to mitigate them
  • Design and build a resilient cloud infrastructure that is protected against security threats
  • Conduct infrastructure security planning, like segmentation, AppSec, IDS/IPS, SIEM, threat management, and vulnerability scanning
  • Integrate cloud-aware authentication mechanisms
  • Establish and manage data access controls
  • Provide identity, authentication, and access management design and oversight (IAM)
  • Support the (Deputy) Manager in all areas that fall within the scope of this department.

Requirements

 

  • Higher professional education/university education level
  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience as a solution architect or cloud security engineer
  • Experience with agile working
  • Experience with hybrid data centers
  • Experience with development and tools within Azure, such as Azure DevOps, is a plus
  • Experience with architecture tools and methods, such as TOGAF, ArchiMate is a plus.

Competencies

 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills (in English and preferably also Dutch and Papiamento)
  • Excellent analytical and advisory skills
  • Quality-driven with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the financial industry (banking) is a plus.
