We are looking for an Enforcement, Market Entry & Legal Advisory Policy Officer

Responsibilities

• Handle files (of varying complexity) in the field of enforcement and market entry, including conducting integrity assessments;
• Handle information requests of a predominantly legal nature concerning market entry;
• Provide internal legal advice in the areas of supervision, enforcement and market entry;
• Assist in the drafting of legislative proposals in the supervisory and related areas;
• Draft and advise on policies in the areas of supervision, enforcement and market entry;
• Provide support in all areas that fall within the scope of this department;

• Participate in internal and external working groups and committees.

Requirements

• University degree in (administrative) Law, preferably with a focus on finance and economics; alternatively, a university degree in Finance or Economics, with affinity for (administrative) law;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Extensive knowledge of the financial sector laws and regulations. 

Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills (in Dutch, English, and preferably also Papiamento);
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills;
• Quality-driven with attention to detail;
• Solution- and result-oriented;
• Able to work under pressure.
