We are looking for a dynamic Functional Application Specialist

Join our Information Technology (IT) team and contribute to the financial stability of Aruba

Responsibilities

• Conducts functional application management and maintenance by monitoring the proper functioning of the operating systems and applications
• Develops new application functionality(s) (configuration(s)) based on internal requests or needs analyses, and implements application changes in the information system
• Identifies bottlenecks timely, and advises on proper solutions
• Holds regular consultations with IT Management on work assignments that apply to him/her
• Provide support in the area of information security where necessary, in coordination with IT management

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Computer Science or relevant IT-diplomas
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as Application Manager or similar
• Affinity with information security and project management (SCRUM, Agile, LEAN, and/or KANBAN)
• Ample experience with system design, implementation, and user support in application functional area
• Ample experience with database management and troubleshooting for information systems
