We are looking for a Manager Financial Stability

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the Financial Stability department and oversee macroprudential policy development
  • Measure and monitor the systemic risks of the financial system
  • Manage the Financial Stability Working Group
  • Conduct relevant Financial Stability research and macroprudential forecasting studies
  • Report regularly to the Financial Stability Committee on key macroprudential indicators
  • Develop and deliver policy recommendations to the Executive Committee of the Centrale Bank van Aruba
  • Manage the capacity building and development of the Financial Stability department.

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in macroeconomics, financial stability, financial economics, or closely related area

  • At least five (5) years of relevant (managerial) experience in financial stability or related area

  • Experience with macroprudential financial supervision

  • Affinity with small open economies.

  • Quality-driven with attention to detail

  • Resilient and outstanding adaptive capacity

  • Strong oral and written communication skills (in Dutch, English and preferably also Papiamento)

  • Inquisitive by nature.
