We are looking for a dynamic and data-savvy STATISTICS POLICY OFFICER

Responsibilities

  • Gather, compile, and process data and information for internal and external reports, and perform data analysis for reporting thereof
  • Prepare periodical reports related to economic and financial developments on both micro and macro level
  • Responsible for the implementation of revised and new international standards for the compilation of statistics
  • Prepare and implement policy recommendations for the improved (digital) compilation and validation of the statistical data, as well as the related guidelines for gathering the basic information
  • Design and execute economic and financial surveys, as well as analyzing and reporting survey results
  • Organize and manage statistics and data projects

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with specialization in economics, business administration, and statistics, or closely related field
  • Relevant work experience in working with economic and financial statistics
  • Extensive knowledge of and ample work experience in monetary and macro economics
  • Knowledge of the relevant foreign exchange regulations and international standards related to data compilation
  • Proven proficiency and skills in using statistical and data analytics software
