We are looking for a dynamic Junior Policy Officer with a keen interest in the domestic and international financial markets

Responsibilities

  • Advise on policy issues with regard to gold and foreign exchange reserve management
  • Continuously monitor and advise on actual performance of the investment portfolio and liquidity position in foreign currency of the CBA as per approved investment guidelines and risk constraints to maximize income
  • Monitor and advise on the liquidity position of the commercial banks to ensure an efficient payment system
  • Actively participate in the Investment Committee of the CBA and advise on relevant matters
  • Conduct onsite examinations and provide policy recommendations in the areas of Exhange Rate Margin Compensation (ERMC) and Foreign Exchange Commission (FEC)
  • Assess requests pursuant to applicable laws related to the FEC and ERMC
  • Participate in committees, working groups, and various projects related to the department or the CBA

Requirements

  • Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Accountancy
  • 0-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of the financial markets
